You can include your spouse by filing Form I-539A for her. extensions are granted in 6- month increments. Best to have an experienced immigration attorney represent you to ensure it's done properly.

1. You may include your spouse on your Form I-539 as she is a derivative of your status. You will need to complete a Form I-539A on her behalf.

2. You may request up to 180 days. You must be able to document your ability to finance your stay in the U.S. and your intent to depart.
