1. For Online filing , Do me and my spouse need to file ' https://www.uscis.gov/i-539 ' this separately ?
2. What is the duration is recommend to ask for ? 3 months ? ( Since situation is unknown , COS approval will take time and don't prefer to request for another extension if situation take longer time to improve ) .
You can include your spouse by filing Form I-539A for her. extensions are granted in 6- month increments. Best to have an experienced immigration attorney represent you to ensure it's done properly.
