Hello,
I currently own and operate an LLC. Right now at this time work I've made for others that are work for hire, they obtain and own the copyright. I wanted to know though if I can legally copyright the work I've done for other jobs that did not go through completely or were pro-bonopermission has been already granted by some of the clients.
This is in Houston Texas Harris County.
Name change years after marriage
I was married 7 years ago and did not take my husband's name. Now, I would like to. Do I have to go through the courts, paying a large fee, etc. or can I amend my marriage license or just inform SS administration, etc.?
suspension of election of new board members
Our board called an emergency board meeting, and decided to suspend our election, after ballots have gone out and members of voted. The board did so because the management company was leaving on April 30th. And they said they wold stay on for 30 days after, to pay the bills. The election is on April 22nd, so what's the problem. Besides, the board knew the management company's contract was up. They've been our management company for three years. Is it legal for the board to suspend elections like this.
We would like the new board to be repsonsible for hiring a new management company.
