My fiancee got a 2nd dwi and was sentence to 30 days in jail in Texas, does he have to do all 30 days? Can he get out in 15 instead
This will depend on whether that time is his sentence or given as a condition of probation ("ACOP"). In most counties, there is some type of early release. You can call the Sheriff's Department and ask what their good time policy is. However, if the time was given ACOP, then only the judge can modify it.
Grandma's Trust/Will
My grandmother just passed away leaving behind 2 drug addicted children that stand to inherit everything because my uncle ''helped'' her set up her trust/will. Prior to my grandmothers passing the 2 of them forged several thousands of dollars in checks and credit cards. She changed her trust/will naming myself as co-trustee and executor of the will 3 months prior to her passing. What rights do the 3 grandchildren have at contesting the trust/will? She told several people a year or so prior how she wanted things set up but when things were actually done it was all completely opposite.
quit claim deed
Is it nessasary for a quit claim deed to
be notorized by an attorney
How soon after incurring debt can you file for BK?
I have carried credit card debt for years. Recently I have racked up a lot more though, due to medical bills, car repairs, back utility bills and home repairs.
Should I wait a certain amount of time before filing for bankruptcy so it does not look like I did something fraudulent? Does the court really know where and what I charged on my credit cards?
