In all likelihood, it is the type of suspension that can be resolved just by taking care of your old court obligations. Could be as simple as paying some old court fines, or filing some documents with probation. If there is a warrant (and there probably is), then you may need to appear personally, or hire an attorney to appear for you. Generally speaking, as long as there is a warrant you can't get re-licensed. Call an attorney in Washington, we can look up the case and let you know what you need to do.
Contact Washington Department of Licensing. Ask the them the reason for the hold on your license. It is likely due to a warrant being issued on the DUI case from the court in which it was filed. Your license could also be held up due to an administrative suspension that was imposed by DOL. That could require payment for fees and/or relicensing requirements. Also, DOL should be able to tell you in which court the DUI was filed. If there is a warrant, contact an attorney in the area and go from there. Good luck!
