I have a mobile home for sale in a 55 and older park. I have a buyer who is disabled and in a wheelchair who will--name removed--55 in five months. The buyer's park is closing and she has nowhere else to go and must move within 30 days. State of Virginia Regional Jail officer

An inmate made allegation againt me. The inmate stated I brought, tobbaco,crack cocaine in the jail for money. The lie detetor operation had a list of 6 question asking about contraband, receiving money from some people I do not know. I fail the test. The evidence that the jail has is cigarette lighter, empty cigarette pack, and a cigarette that appeared to have been smoke. No crack coicane has been detected. The IA officer at the facility has advise me that he was going to send the contrandband to a lab to be finger printed. I feel that the jail supended me based only on the lie detector test. The only evidence, the IA officer has, is an Inmate statement. The IA officer has not done any investigation, tangible evidence; nothing is in the order that the Inmate said it would be and it is made up. Please help me to see what grounds to stand on legally. I know , I need to contact the Commissioner!

The incident was written up but somehow never made it to the Human Recourses department even though i left a copy of the write up for her. Discrimination lawsuit

I moved to my girlfriend's apartment in nyc a year ago. I own a dog, but her lease has a no pet clause that I knew nothing about. My name is not on the lease. The building owner filed a notice to cure, but did not do so within 90 days of knowing my dog was here. We fought and won, sort of. There was an agreement that we could stay until the lease expired on October 31, and there would be no renewal. Today, we got served with an eviction notice, two weeks before the lease expires. We do not know why the notice was filed, and we feel the landlord has violated the agreement.

The core of my question is this: There are at least two other dogs in the building we're in, but the landlord has never gone after the other owners, or served them any kind of notice. The story is that two tenants are only pet sitting, but these dogs are here on a 24/7 basis. My dog has never messed in the apartment, does not bark, and is not a nuisance of any kind. The other small dogs bark all the time in the hallways when being taken out. Anyway, we feel that my girlfriend did not violate her lease because she does not own a pet. Fighting the case cost $1500. We feel like we're being discriminated against, and harrassed. Can we sue?

Workplace religious harassment

What recourse do I have with an employers floor manager who very loudly and continually harrasses anyone in the workplace that is mormon. He frequently several times a day for the past two years uses expletitives to demean and insult all the mormons working there and all mormons in general when he is done with us. The owner of the company has been told several times but now no-one will say anything because the owner has warned on several occasions that whiners would be fired and he has already fired several people for making complaints. He will not stop the managers abuse and harrassment.

I'm 58, female, worked at the same company for 21 years, AVP of Operations, termed because I said something negative about another department, no severance. While 14 months ago a male under 45 years of age (with the company for ten years was termed for arguing with an outsourced security person while he was actively on a progressive diciplinary (30, 60, 90 day review plan) for touching a female colleague inappropriately. He received 3 months severance. I did not receive any progressive warnings and no severance. I feel it was clearly a discriminative action against me.
