sexual harrassment and retaliation
I was recently ''let go'' from a new
job after complaining to my direct
supervisors about the frequency of
sexual and crass comments in the
work place. I was discrete and
professional, and simply asked if the
offending persons could be held
accountable for their actions. One of
these persons was the president of
the company. I was hired through a
third party agency. Meanwhile, I am
out a job, and I have bills to pay. I
am suffering undue financial,
emotional, and personal hardships
simply because I spoke out and
asked that the inappropriate
behavior stop. Is there anything
that I can do legally?
