my cousin was detaind crossing el paso tx border by imigratrion and than was charged with entering the country with failure to search. now he is been transfer to prison. I will like to know the process that follows, should i get a lawyer or he will be out soon or he will spend months lost in the sistem.

Please get him a lawyer. It is impossible to know if he will get 'lost' in the system, but is is a relative certainty that without a lawyer (possibly even with a lawyer) he will not be getting out soon. He needs an experienced immigration lawyer, that also practices federal criminal defense law.
