Attorney group lies to client to settle

What can a client do when an attorney group lies to the client to get the client to sign a settlement agreement, then tries to force the client to sign other agreements.

Re: Attorney group lies to client to settle

If you can actually demonstrate that there were "lies" as distinct from you not understanding what you were signing and doing it anyway, then you could contact the state bar to investigate. "Other agreements" could mean the related paperwork necessary to effectuate the settlement. I strongly suggest you consult with another attorney for an opinion, before making a claim with the State Bar.
