Buyer Refuses to Sign Close of Escrow Agreement

I have a vindictive buyer who will not sign this agreement. We sent it 3 days ago and the expiration period is tomorrow. Question: Can I pursue a new buyer when the time period expires without fear of them contesting any new sale? I live in Folsom California.

Re: Buyer Refuses to Sign Close of Escrow Agreement

As long as all contingencies have been lifted, escrow must close. It is a breach of contract by the buyer. If you want to cancel the purchase agreement, you should have the buyer sign a release to cancel the escrow so you can open a new escrow with a new buyer. A Title co. will require this. Get something in writing from the buyer that they are not going forward with the purchase and close of escrow.
