County ordinances on State property in Florida?
Do county ordinances apply on state controlled property in the state of Florida?
Specifically, does an ordinance in a county apply on the proprty of a state University located within said county?
Re: County ordinances on State property in Florida?
The answer to your question depends on many factors. For example, is it a charter county or a non-charter county? Also, does the state own the property on which the state university is located, or is the property owned by the county and leased to the university? Also important is to which specific ordinance you are referring. Many counties have an ordinance which makes it illegal, in effect, to violate state statutes.
