doctor patient relationship
can a assistant to a doctor reveal information , both false and true , to third parties. my wife went to docter and the assistant called friends and told about the visit.. all details about the visit , some true some not

A doctor's staff cannot reveal health care information about a patient. AS big no no. The doctor should be contacted and he would be quite justified to fire anyone on his staff that is revealing private health care information about his patient.
