Employment Glitch
If you are working for a man that is a painting contractor on a need only basis and at the end of the week he gives you an envelope that is supposed to contain your check but instead contains a sticky that says ''fuck you,'' what legal precautions should you take?

You may sue in small claims for the payment that was promised for the work performed. As for precautions, I assume you know not to again work for this character without getting cash up front.
