Family Medical Leave Act
I originally signed up for FMLA and now my disability will last longer than 12 weeks/ Can I be fired or can I now convert to long term disability to protect my job?

If your company has long term disability protection, you can sign up for that. If not, after 12 weeks they do not have to hold your job any more.
