Federal incarceration

My fiance was convicted of a crime that he didn't really commit. He is guilty of being stupid, that's it. I am wondering, even if his Public defendor got him to agree to no appeals, if we can still appeal.

Re: Federal incarceration

I am afraid that there arestrict timelines for an appeal. If the conviction was more than a couple months ago, the time for appeal has passed. If he entered a plea, an appeal would also be inefffective since he would have had to waive his rights in open court.
