heart attack from birth control pill

I'm 22 and very healthy. I Don't drink, smoke or use any type of recreational drugs. I had a heart attack from my birth control pills. I have a bunch of medical expenses that i really can't afford to pay not even including the ongoing care i have to continue with. I Was wandering would it be worth trying to get a settlement from the company to cover these expenses for the past, present, and the future.

Re: heart attack from birth control pill

They are very unlikely to pay you anything. You experienced a risk of the drug. It is a tiny risk, but the package inserts warn about it, as should have your doctor. There are risks to taking any drug and in deciding to do so you must weight the risks against the benefits.
