I am having problems with my employer, Wal-Mart in regards to my disabilities and limitations from injuries sustained from my time in the Navy. I have been reprimanded for refusing to exceed my lifting limitations, despite having my limits in writing from my doctors at the VA.

I have been forced to cancel appointments with my doctors because management at the store I work for refuses to work with me regarding my medical issues. I have been told that my depression is "just for sympathy", and have been laughed at for crying when my pain levels are too high.

The latest kick in the teeth is dealing with testicular tumors, and trying to get proper care for them. When I told management that I had surgery set to remove the tumor, it ended up being the start of nothing but jokes and ridicule. I have complained to management, and the jokes only got worse.

What can I do about this?

Wal-Mart has an internal complaint system and you should immediately file a complaint with them regarding this conduct. Before you call, make a list of your concerns and try to be as brief and specific as possible. It seems to me that you are being made fun of because of your depression and testicular tumours. Additionally, your managers are refusing to honor your medical restrictions.
