I think my lawyer cheated me
I won a court case by default judgement back in 2003. I was supposed to receive $75,000. and received nothing. I searched my case on-line and found that my fee was scratched out and my lawyer's fee was changed from $7,500 to $30,000. He told me the case was closed a long time ago. What in the world is this all about?

It sounds like a contingency case..fee 40% or recovery...but only a paper judgment..Nothing collected...many lawyers have their walls papered with paper judgments...
