Is this considered disability discrimation ?

I'm currently a teacher in CA and am hearing impaired due to being a helicoptor pilot for 20 yrs. I have been teaching for more than 10 years now. I'm a resource specialist who works with disabled kids. Over the past few years my principal has made numerous rude comments about my hearing impairment during staff meetings. She has repeatly humiliated me and talked down to me in front of other teahers. She verbally assaulted me again yesterday and this morning she told me that she doesn't think that I am a good teacher because of my hearing disability and that she is questioning my ability to do my job. I'm angry about the way that I have been treated and am curious to know if I have any recouse.

We recommend that you contact an attorney in your area. Contact your local county state bar association as they may be able to refer you an attorney.

Good luck!
