Re: Living Trust - Married with children

I realize that your living trust may contain securities (stocks and bonds and similar investments), but securities lawyers would not be the right legal specialty to answer this question knowledgably. I suggest that you re-ask your question on LawGuru under a heading such as "Wills, Trusts and Estates" to get answers from lawyers who practice regularly in this area. My hunch is that they will tell you to see the lawyer that drew up your trust in the first place. If that lawyer is retired, or can't be located, or you did this as a do-it-yourself project in the first place, they'll recommend hiring an estate-planning or wills-and-trusts specialist to go over your plans and needs on a personal, professional level. This is especially worthwhile since the tax laws have changed and will change in the near future.
