Re: Immigration Law Answers/More Info.

Thanks for answering.

We are now looking for a really good attorney with a great track record who knows both sides of the Mexican border.

FYI - I am caucasian-He is a cousin in law of my best friend and her family and also my boss who is married to my best friend's aunt. My boss is American, the rest are all Mexican. On that side there are about 50 or so legal people who are mostly citizens at this point with a couple in process and a few illegal. My boss has a huge business and has sponsored many people. He knows the drill. He would be willing to sponsor him, I'm sure.

Also, on my guy's side of the family -he has many blood relatives who are here legally. His aunt and 6 blood 1st cousins are citizens. He has 40 more family members with green cards/are here legally.

The reason we are looking for an attorney is because I'm more afraid of this situation because the immigration climate has changed.

My guy does NOT have citizenship anywhere else. We are considering marriage, and we had thought of marrying on both sides for family reasons. We would do so in whatever order is best, though I don't want him going to Mexico again if he can't pass back again. We will wait for that until we are sure of our plans.
