Stopping distance

How far should a car stop behind a truck at a stop sign and traffic light?

Let me guess. You're under 21 with a bad driving record and love to tailgate.

You stuck the nose of your vehicle pretty much under the rear end of a truck so that the trucker couldn't see you in his mirrors. Only you know why.

When you got caught, you sought an answer that would exculpate you from blame.

We'll their isn't one. If you can't see his mirrors, you're too close - that or one car length.
