unemployment

I was fired from my job, for what I consider an unjustifiable reason, and after i was let go I was told about a law in Tennessee that says you can not fire an employee who's worked there for over 90 days without it being absolutely neccessary or without good reason. Is this true?

Re: unemployment

No, that is not true. Tennessee is an "at will" employment state and, absent a signed agreement, an employer can fire an employee "at will" as long as the reason for firing is not unlawful (discriminatory, retaliatory, etc.)
