I was laid off from my company, along with 14 other people, due to COVID-19 related downsizing. The company will be laying off more people as well. Am I allowed to legally ask for a deferral on my rent payment for the upcoming month? Is it possible to ask for a deferral on other payments.

It is my understanding that certain cities, such as Los Angeles, are implementing a moratorium (temporary prohibition) on evictions due to tenants non-payment of rent caused by the COVID-19. You should check your local courthouse's website and/or local municipality website to see if such a moratorium is in effect where you live.
Naming My Living Trust as the Beneficiary of my Life Insurance
I don't have anyone in my family who is responsible enough to handle my affairs once I die. I would like to name my living trust as the beneficiary of my life insurance policy. Is that possible? Also what is the difference between an Irrevocable Life Insurance Trust and naming my living trust as a beneficiary. My estate is under 2 million dollars, but I do have certain items that I want to place in my living trust.
