use of sick leave for injury on the job
I injured my eye on the job and had to go to the emergency room. I immediately advised my employer of the injury. They have deducted 6 hrs from my accrued sick leave time and penalized my overtime because the er doctor put me off work for the reaminder of the day. I thought an on the job injury was covered by my employer.
DESPERATE for a legal resolution
We have a renter who just moved in next door. He is going out of his way to harass and antagonize my disabled child. He makes it impossible for the child to sleep or rest. As a result my son is becoming quite ill. We have no place else for him to sleep except in one of our two bedrooms. both bedrooms are next to a driveway the former homeowner built illegally for this area.its been 4 weeks now with no sleep , no help, calling police, lawyers no one says they can help us. I fear a violent outcome since no legal resolutions are open to us. PLEASE HELP ME.

One son has power of attorney for father who has lost his mind, the other son is the executor of the father's estate. The 1st son has not paid the mortgage. Can the exect. of estate go to the bank and see if anything can be done to save the estate if father is still alive? The father is in a care facility. Father and property is in oregon. Mortgage is approx. $60,000.00. Property is valued at $400,000. We live in Washington.
