Hello! So i do a live in job for IHSS (in home supportive services) as a caregiver. I get three 9 hour days off a week. As you can imagine i can get quit stir crazy. With this going on with coronavirus, my boss (not my client) tells me that i must stay home and I can’t go to the doctors unless it’s an emergency. Also mandates me to wear gloves when i come back and mandates she sees them on my hands when i walk in the door. Is this legal? I get shelter in place but I can’t even go food shopping as she refuses for me to leave. Is this even legal? She threatens to fire me if i leave. These are days off with another worker there to fill in.
