Today is 6/25/10. I have been on medical leave since 9/18/09. I am receiving disability income-insurance payments via an employer-sponsored disability insurance plan. My claim has been approved through 1/3/12.

Today, my employer call to inform me that my department is being dissolved due to lack of funding. Several people will be laid-off next week, as a result. Because the whole department is being cut, this is not an ADA or EEOC violation. How does this affect my insurance claim though? Since this is an employer-sponsored plan, do I lose my disability claim payments once my position is terminated? Or is the insurance company required to continue payments for the duration of my approved claim?

I was arrested in 8/2016 for driving without a legal drivers liscense, had insurance though, court coming up March 2017. Went to treatment and was on home restrictions. I worked locally at a bar as a cleaner. I got a new job in Feb. 2017 and the same thing, driving no liscense had insurance though. Was ready to take my drivers test the next day. I had worked hard to save up $500.00 to take test. Cost me $350.00 to tow home. It will be in 2 weeks and I will take my test, even though I wont be paying all my bills. I sure dont want jail, or ankle bracelet. How about a small monthly payment from a brain handicapped, retired to part time work only. Thanks, Pat

drug charge in military

I am an e-3 in the usmc, today i was served with drug abuse charge under the usmcj, however i do not take any illegal drugs, i am a new mother who breast feeds her child! I need to know what are my chances of proving my innocence and if i can't prove my innocence what punishments am i looking at from the marine corps? Please help, is there any sense in me trying to fight this when i'm 110% innocent or should i just take an njp in hopes of staying in the military?
