When filing bankruptcy, you must list all assets you have. This not only includes real property (house), but also personal assets including furnishings, clothing, jewelry, cars, etc. In addition, you must also list any other assets you have an interest in - which would include trademarks, patents, etc. I urge you to locate an experienced bankruptcy attorney in your area to discuss the assets you have (including the trademark), to get specific information about how to protect your assets. Many of us offer a half hour no charge consultation where you can get some preliminary information about this. Please also consider hiring a bankruptcy attorney to prepare and file the case for you. This is not something you should do by yourself or with a paralegal (they can't provide the legal advice you need). Good luck.
