My parents are visiting from India, and their 6 month period will expire in 30 days. Since they cannot travel back to India right now, I wanted to extend their B2 Visa period. With USCIS closed, how can I get around this issue.
A visitor may get a B2 Visa extension during coronavirus when filing before the I-94 expires.
By simply filing the I-539 EOS application by mail. USCIS is not closed. It is continuing to operate.
No personal appearance is required. They simple submit form I-539 by mail.
USCIS is not closed. You can file the application for extension of status.
