We have a apartment lease with 3 months remaining to pay but due to the coronavirus situation in NJ we moved back to my parents house. Can we legally break our lease early?
I don't see how you are getting out of this lease. the risk of getting cv is probably the same at your parents' house as at your apartment building, and it's not the apartment owner's fault that covid came about. I can't think of any theory under which you would be absolved of liability.
