I had to go to court to try and get my mortgage reinstated. The judge asked me to talk to him in his chambers. He said, OK, lets hear your side of the story and take your time. I told him everything from start to that day. He said, that's exactly what I read, so why won't these investors work with you ? I said, your honor I have tried everything and they keep putting up road blocks on everything I have tried to do to get help. He said, follow me back to the court room. He told the investor's lawyers that he thought I deserved a second chance. He no sooner got the words out and the Investor's lawyers were objecting. He told them to work something out in 30 days or he would do it. He asked if I was making my mortgage payments and the trustee said, yes. Now that I am back paying my mortgage & arrears and my credit is better is there anyway that I can get a bank or Credit Union to refinance my mortgage ? Or maybe a FHA loan, or do I need 1yr. in the repayment plan ? Investors have to go !
You may need to get approval from the Court to incur new debt, but it is a very viable alternative to continuing with these”investors.”
