my husband has an order from a judge made in 2005 that he is to have 3 wks vac with his son ,he put in his weeks and the sons mom now has a lawyer ,who denied the visits saying the son has difficulty going w/ his father on weekend visits the child also does not want to return to the mother when we return him , we gave the 6 weeks notice we were suposed to ,does her layer have the right to change the order? thankyou

Smoke detector certificate & intra-family transfer
My brother and I own the house I live in. If I buy my brother's half interest and record the deed, do I need to get a smoke detector certificate? What could be the result if I don't get a smoke detector certificate? No financing will be involved. Getting the certificate involves making and keeping an appointment and it is a slight bother. My question is, as a practical matter what, if anything, would happen if I recorded the deed without having obtained a smoke detector certificate? Is there a fine? Is there a penalty? Does the local fire department review recent recordings of deeds?
