There is a section of law called the "Servicemembers Civil Relief Act" that provides some protections as far as court appearances are concerned. Since this is coming up fast, you want to contact a general practice / debt protection attorney in your area ASAP to help defend your case. If you don't show and the court doesn't know about the duty status, a judgment could be entered in your absence. There are many attorneys throughout who are familiar with how military life interacts with the law. Good luck.
