I own a home that I am/was currently selling through land contract. The people whom were purchasing it from me appear to have left. By contract I have to give them 15 days written notice to make up all back payments before they are in violation of contract. My question is will a certified letter satisfy this clause or do I have to have them legally served?

If you want to evict them, you can only do that by a lawsuit. However, notice of defaults would be controlled by the contract. http://www.wolverinelaw.com
