child support
my oldest child is 18, just released from prison,she was in for 3 mos. Tried as an adult in La. Child support set in Al. in 1991. How can I get her emancipated? She is living in a halfway house in
Louisiana. Her mother took off and is living in Wisconsin. I was told by county worker that her portion of child support was going to other children I have to pay for. What can I do? I cannot afford an attorney because I have a 6 year old at home, and I'm paying out $800.00 per month child support. I am living in Mn. Thank you.
Last Month Rent
When I moved into my apt 6 years ago, I paid first, last and a securty deposit. Now that I am moving they want me to pay them $140 to make up the difference on the last month rent due to the increases thru the years. Can they do this?
we had a painter in for and estimate to paint the house. He gave us a quote and we gave him a $500 deposit however we did not sign a contract. We decided to cancel and contacted him early the next day. He now refuses to return our $500. Can we get it back and can he sue us for breach of contract.
