That was in both our names. It was a birthday gift to me and I was the sole driver of the vette. The vette was bought with an $80,000.00 inheritance when his father died. I was not with my husband at the time because he was cheating on me so we had seperated. I had no knowledge of his manufacturing and was no where around him. He was convicted and received 20 years. He was given theCorvette back because he had proof the car was not bought with drug money. He offered the vette up for time off his sentence and his attorney did tell me it was a "backroom deal." he did get 5 yrs off his sentence & only charged with manufacturing & Other chgs dropped. In his paperwork from court it has him and the girl he was with on the forfeiture papers not me. I was never informed that the car was being forfeited nor was I notified by the state considering I'm on the title. My due process rights were violated plus I am an innocent owner. The state knew how to reach me yet never sent me notice
Unless there were other facts at hand, there didn't appear to be an Admiralty - Maritime issue here. Good luck

You need to hire a local attorney and file suit for the forfeiture.
