My sister and I own a home in texas, which is her & her husband's principal residence. My sister's husband has no ownership in the home (we purchaed the home before either of us were married). I also own another home in texas with my husband, which is my husband and I claim homestead since it is our principal residence. Is it correct for my sister to claim homestead on 100% of the home she and I own jointly?
