My father passed away in New Jersey 5 months ago. I was named in the will along with my brother, sister and nephew. My brother is the executor of the will, but I have not spoken to him in 20 years. All beneficiaries of the will have received their inheritance except for me. I did receive a copy of the will, but all other emails to my brother have gone unanswered. When is it appropriate to take legal action, and where would I begin?
16 year old ran away to aunts house across state lines
We live in Utah, I am a step-mom, my step-son has ran away, taking his car and drove to California to be with his aunt. She enrolled him into summer school without permission, he has just received a 2nd speeding ticket and my husband, his father, will not report him as a runaway after talking to an officer who said it is not against the law. He is in trouble and I need him back home safe and sound. What can I do? (no guardianship, no adoption)
