Re: car loan

Your Grandmother will be held liable for the debt as a co-signer. If you declare bankruptcy the car is a secured debt which you will either have to surrender, claim as exempt, or try to continue to pay for. You should consult a bankruptcy attorney if you are considering bankruptcy, and you may want to try to work something out with your loan holder.
