jointly owned land as collateral for SBA loan

My two brother in laws own 1/9th (each) of land I would like to use as collateral in a business loan. Do I simply need to get their ''approval'' to use the land as collateral for the loan?

The land is fully paid for and there are no leins against it. My husband and I own the other 7/9ths.

What type of attorney do we see to help with a person with three names, two dates of birth and two social security numbers? We would like to get this corrected.

Parents used my name for credit accounts

My parents used my name for 3 credit accounts and they have gone into collections since they refuse to pay them. They say since they are in my name they don't have to pay them but my mother signed my name on the account & the bills went to their home. It's about 12K and I can't afford to pay the bills. Can I sue them or take them to small claims? They live in IA and I live in CA.

Car Payment

My ex boyfriend helped me purchase

a car by giving me money for the

down payment and paying the car

payment every month because we

verbal agreement in place as far as

repayment and the vehicle is in my

name. He is now saying that he

wants the money that he put into

the car back. Do I have to pay him if

we had no contract? Also I was told

that he can possibly be made to

continue to make car payments since

he verbally stated he would make

the city filed a notice of special assessment lien on property that was subsequently sold and then split into two new parcels and subsequently sold again, without the lien every being paid. What recourse does the city have now?
