Back payment to long term disability
I was recently approved for social secuity (medical). Since I was approved, my minor children will also receive social security payments. Once I receive the back payments from social security, my long term disability company wants repayment for the money they have paid out. Can they also collect the back money that will be paid to my children?

The answers will be found in the terms of the written Long-term Disability contract, not social security law. (Most LTD contracts require re-imbursement). So you should contact an attorney familiar with employee benefit/LTD insurance and the state insurance and federal ERISA laws.
