Contractor Bankrupt?
I am a subhauler awaiting payment for invoices that are over 6 months old; the owner of the company passed away 2 months ago, leaving what he had to a live-in girlfriend, who was working for him, and a grandchild. She now claims that she is broke; how should I go about getting my money back (it's about $2500.00)

Good luck. File suit against all the parties in small claims court and hope for the best.
