estate/health management bankrupting executor

As my father's executor, I have managed his health, estate and all affairs for 14 months. He was hospitalized for 5 months. Now his 'business' & doctors appointments now take 2-3 days a week and I have lost 40% of my income in the last 14 months as a result. I now have interest payments on bank loan debt ($20K)which I have never had and am concerned about destroyin gmy credit score (previously 823). Am I entitled to any compensation prior to his death or only afterward? Thank you.

Re: estate/health management bankrupting executor

You can't be his Executor until after his death, and even then executors don't get paid. If you are a court appointed Conservator or Guardian while he is alive, you would be entitled to some compensation with court approval.
