Ex-fiance spent a lot of my money
during college my boyfriend proposed to me, we became engaged. we decided to buy a house (home is in his name only, first time home buyer). in order to get financed he had to pay off a few debts including his truck loan. it was fast and easy for me to get large amounts of money through student loans and he convinced me that he would be paying back the loans in the long run anyway. about $35,000 in student loan money was spent to pay off his truck $13,000 and pay for furniture and large appliances (washer/drier). the loan also helped us pay closing costs and the first couple months of morgage. i ended the relationship due to his lack of employment and drug use. is there any way for me to get any money back from him?

I assume you now realize how bad your decision was. If you can prove the terms of your agreement with him, you can sue for what he owes. Was anything in writing? That would help. It may be a violation of your student loan to use the funds as you described, however.
Even if you win, of course, making him pay is yet another nightmare for you. Unemployed drug users rarely have several thjousand dollars just sitting around.
