Legal contract?

I won an online auction from Seller A. An other buyer member contacted Seller A & offered more money after I had bought & paid. I believe there is a tort law that prohibits a third party from interfereing with a completed contract between 2 parties. Can you advise what this law is & can I sue the 3rd party for my losses?

Re: Legal contract?

Tortious interference with contractual

relations or something similar is the civil cause of action. However, whether it might be a viable cause of action for your particular situation is quite another matter which you should discuss with an appropriately knowledgeable and experienced litigator in this particular area of tort law.
