My husband would like to build a house together. How do I make sure should he pass away before me, that the house would be mine and I would be free to sell it if I chose to. He has an adult child from a previous marriage and we have a child together.

My concern is that the house would be part his previous child's and I would have to ask her permission to sell or give her a percentage of profits should I sell it.

How would I go about making sure the house is strictly mine and my child's?
