Oppositions to Motions
Must all oppositions to motions be personally served on opposing counsel?

You can serve them by mail, or by express mail/fedex, see Code of Civil Procedure Sections 1010 through 1015. You need to ensure that the opposition actually reaches the opposing counsel no later than the day after the opposition is due, this could include service by first class mail + fax.
