parent's right to home
My elderly father lived with me for 11 years. He is now extremely frail and in need of more physical care than I can handle alone (I am single, early 50's). My condo is in my name alone. He has helped me financially over the years, but since we had no formal ''tenant'' agreement his contribution was similar to what rent would have been, and I did all driving, organized the household. Of significance is that my two brothers were given equal monies (one brother actually got more, as he was often unemployed) although they did not care for him, even when I was on vacation. Five days ago he began living with eldest brother (and his wife, a certified nurse assistant who is caring for him). My concern is they may decide, after experiencing the day-to-day difficulties, they can't handle him. If so, am I legally obliged to let my father live with me? The middle brother seems to think I would have choice.
