Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

My son got 2 tickets same time. One was for breaking curfew and the other was possession of drug paraphernalia. He has his court date set? He is 16 years old. Should we take an lawyer with us to the proceding. What should we expect for this type first offense? Will he have to answer yes on future job applications to the qustion ''Have you been convicted of anything other than a traffic violation''?

Re: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

He has not been convicted yet. I would recommend a lawyer. They should be able to keep this off his record.
