Reasonable Accodomation
I have been waiting on an answer from my federal employer on Reasonable Accomdation due to migranie headaches for 7 months.
My employer refuses to accomodate me due to the fact that my neurgolist will not answer the following questions:The underlying concern being that if you can not work in the office when having a migraine, how is it expected that you would be able to concentrate and focus regardless of where you are, home or in the office.
My neurgolist informed me that the government has enough information to answer the questions she has sent in several notes and trigger factors.
I answered the questions that the government would like to have answered: I stated for the record how the office can accommodate me:
I could work from home in my room with the lights dimmed when I�m suffering on a level of 1-6.
When I can�t function I would inform my supervisor and use leave. I'm not sure what I should do
There are times that I can function at work but I must use my leave due to the fact there are no empty spaces in the office. I'm forced to use leave and the answer is always no you can't move anywhere in the office. Use your leave

It's not clear from this question as to what law(s) you are proceeding under in requesting such accommodation
from your employer such as ADA or something else and therefore much more information would be required to adequately respond to this question. (And, furthermore, migraine may not even be covered under the ADA if that's what you have in mind.)
