rent deposit
I have a question regarding a $900.00 deposit I put down on an apartment. I filled out the application and put the money down just 4 days ago. I received a call today that I got a job accross Iowa. I called the rental apartments and they will only give me back 1/2 the $900.00 Is that legal without a lease?

You should get full reimbursement of your deposit unless you were notified in advance that only half reimbursement is due upon withdrawal or you might have different leasing laws in IOWA!
